Owner and operator of Jen-Tel Investigations, Jen Heckathorn has over 20 years experience as Law Enforcement Officer and Private Investigator. During this period, she has investigated or assisted in the investigation, for prosecution and/or defense, in the following areas:

Jen Heckathorn was Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) member for 12 years and had the responsibilty to investigate and document collisions and all incidents of criminal activity, arrest criminal offenders and follow cases through the judicial process. While as a police officer, Jen spent six years assigned specifically to Traffic Enforcement. This included the assignment of reviewing, correcting and approving all traffic collisions submitted by officers, field training officers and corporals and has personally investigated hundreds of collisions including fatalities. Jen has also completed several youth bicycle / pedestrain safety courses and programs, and been involved in the coordination and implementation of multiple nation wide "Every 15 minutes" student DUI productions.
She has completed numerous basic and advanced training courses related to investigations, including:
